Role Overview
We are currently hiring for a Security Technician on behalf of one of our clients in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, including CCTV and other low-voltage solutions, in compliance with UAE regulatory standards.
The Security Technician will handle on-site installation and maintenance of security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills and a valid certification from the Security Industry Regulatory Agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems at client sites in Dubai
- Install and service access control systems, intrusion alarms, and other low-voltage systems
- Conduct site surveys and support implementation based on project requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair system faults efficiently on-site
- Ensure all installations comply with SIRA regulations and client standards
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks
- Support commissioning and handover of systems to clients
- Maintain service reports, installation records, and site documentation
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams for timely project delivery
- Ensure proper cabling, wiring, and system integration at site level
Required Skills & Experience
- Valid SIRA Security Technician License (Mandatory)
- Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in CCTV and security systems installation/maintenance
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and structured cabling
- Experience with CCTV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, or similar
- Basic understanding of IP networking and system configuration
- Ability to work on-site across Dubai locations
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
